Dallas, TX: National firm seeks a 3-5 year Labor & Employment Associate for its Dallas office. This position principally involves handling all employment-related matters, including compliance with federal, state and local laws regulating employment. Their practice involves administrative, arbitration, and trial and appellate litigation, representing management in discrimination, sexual harassment, wrongful termination, workers’ compensation retaliation, civil rights, employment related tort claims, trade secret/breach of fiduciary duty, “whistleblower” and other employment-related claims, enforcement of and defense against covenants not to compete, and class actions, representative actions for unpaid overtime under the FLSA, and other multiple-plaintiff lawsuits. Candidates should have working knowledge of representing employers before many federal, state and local administrative agencies, and various local fair employment practices agencies. Excellent advocacy and writing skills are a must.
