San Francisco, CA: A full service firm, is seeking for its growing national energy law practice, a mid-level associate with at least 2 years' regulatory and transactional experience; some litigation experience preferred. The associate will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge energy matters, including in the renewable energy and clean tech spaces. The energy group represents clients in a wide variety of regulatory proceedings, corporate transactions, contract and commercial disputes, and administrative actions. The associate will also have the opportunity to interact directly with clients, have first and second chair responsibilities, and be given the training and resources to begin developing their own clients. Candidates must have a J.D. and be a current, in good standing, or pending member of the California State Bar. They also should have experience in the energy, environmental, or technology industries, as well as an understanding of the general technical and commercial challenges that our energy clients face, particularly with respect to the California Public Utilities Commission. Prior law firm experience is not required but would be very beneficial.
