Los Angeles, CA: The Los Angeles office of a large firm has an immediate opening for an Associate with 2-4 years of privacy/data security experience. In terms of the required privacy experience, the ideal candidate should be familiar with digital technology, big data, analytics, behavioral tracking, Video Privacy Protection Act, CAN SPAM, TCPA. The candidate must have experience drafting agreements, including digital advertising and cloud agreements, and collaborating with clients. In addition, the ideal candidate must be familiar with the digital advertising ecosystem including ad networks, data management platforms, supply side platforms, CRM retargeting, and the technologies associated with behavioral tracking (unique ids, HTML5, cross-device tracking, geolocation, GPS Wi-Fi, probabilistic and deterministic cross-device tracking). Finally, the candidate should also be familiar with data breach laws, forensic investigations, breach notification letters, cyber preparedness, and table top exercises. Familiarity with privacy and data security regimes in the US is a requirement and in the EU and Asia is a plus. Prior experience in the technology industry is a plus. CIPP US/EU required. CIPP/Asia is a plus.
